Beyond the clinic
Dr. Salas was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and relocated to Houston in January 1992. She is married to Dr. Alberto Lopez, a Cardiologist-Electrophysiologist at the Texas Heart Institute, and together they have a daughter, Estefania, who attends the University of Texas at Austin.
Outside of the office, Dr. Salas is an avid tennis player and has recently taken up pickleball — a sport that shares at least one thing with orthodontics: timing matters.
